Well… its been quite a week and this is at last… the final week of school. Funny how time flies especially with the college strike and all. So I went in and visited the fine folks at Dundurn Group (Press). What was funny was that everyone else had a 5 minute interview or meeting. I ended up staying there for over an hour!!! But the result was a very good start to determining what I would be doing and perhaps would have the opportunity to do. I will elaborate more later.
What else these days? Well… i’m still planning and budgeting for the Manitoulin Island trip 2006 this summer. The goal is to aim for the civic holiday weekend. Cost wise isn’t bad. I think its just a matter of figuring out how many people are going. But we will have a small get-together for all the people going… have a few drinks!
The On the Danforth magazine has been keeping me busy all last week and will likely keep me busy until the launch. Somehow my responsibilities have blurred but i guess that is expected and is for the most part quite fun although tiring. My focus now that the magazine is pretty much going into production will be to deal with the web ads so that’ll be interesting. We’ll see how much time I have to either do flash ads or gif ads.
Oh… lastly… there are a few productive things such as my breakthrough in understanding CSS (or at least part of it) after bashing my head against the wall, and i now have a photoblog. Only its not a daily post, but rather a “whenever I feel like putting a up new picture” post. Check it out
