And that’s the end of that … another era

It’s quite funny you know?  Today was the last day of class.  I did not see everyone but my mind goes back to the first day when we stepped into class.  What have we achieved after these 8 months?  Well, I gained skills, but really the skills did not have too much of an impact on me.  The 30 or so people in the class that i’ve spent practically everyday with have made an impact on me, regardless of how small.  Some I got to know better than others, but in the end, they are all great people.  And what makes them each so great is the fact that they are so different and distinct.  Granted, some conversations about television shows and celebrities that I don’t know about are a little off my track, even with my reservations about popular culture, it still amuses me.  I will truly miss the personalities of my fellow classmates and friends.  Just like the office place, the people that make up the environment and atmosphere of that space, are really what provides the real incentive to attend.

The On the Danforth magazine is finally done.  People ask me how I feel about the magazine, I am unsure.  I guess I had an impact.  I think for the most part, I simply provided support.  I can’t say how I really influenced the magazine.  I do wish that it would be possible to make the scavenger hunt part of the magazine, it would have been a good addition.  Both issues of On the Danforth does look very good this year, but I think the process of developing the magazine must be addressed next year.  I intend on ensuring webhosting will be available for next year’s class.  The domain name however, will be a very different story… but I guess we will deal with that when the time arrives.

What’s next?  http://www.ehrencheung.com/ must be redesigned.  Stochastic Photography is launching a special promotion.  There’s a big project in the future.  Web ads must be developed for On the Danforth and a big project will be on the horizon!  Oh… and i will have to look for a job.  I guess that’ll be another big hit.  The really exciting thing will probably be that I will be taking a trip up to Manitoulin Island over the August 4th Civic holiday long weekend this summer!  still calculating costs… and i’m already planning for next summer’s Mt. Washington Hike…
