So does that title interest you?
Well let’s see the first thing is that the quote “LIMITS ARE POSSIBILITIES” is really something out of Chip Kidd’s book, The Cheese Monkeys. It is really a look at graphic design more so than anything else. Ironically when people saw this on MSN, a great number messaged me about it. I guess technically, it was effective graphic design… or was it? All I did was capitalize the letters. The words themselves however contradict one another in the same sentence and are opposite sides of the spectrum of thinking. Regardless, after thinking about it … the statement is rather true … it is all in all … based on a person’s perspective. It was an interesting pondering though…
So the past week has been very busy and tiring for me. I wake up at 5am and head down to Union station to get to Dundurn for my internship. They are all such great people and they’ve all been providing me with really great opportunities to learn. Unfortunately I think i caught some sort of cold … and i’m just feeling…icky today.
Oh well … I have done a little bit of work on http://www.ehrencheung.com/ (let me know what you all think)
Hopefully i’ll be in a better state of mind to do some more this long weekend. Dundurn has some great books, I wonder if i’ll be able to read some. I did however have the funny opportunity to announce the arrival of a book from the printer, Mike Filey’s Toronto Sketches 9. A very fascinating book about Toronto’s history … that is if I only had the time to read all of that. I do however enjoy looking at the old photographs of Toronto. Speaking of photographs … the rainy weather reminded me of this photograph that I took while driving along the roads north of Toronto.
