Thanks for dropping by Samer! Can't wait till the TTC to introduce the new trains -- they're used elsewhere in the world already.

LOL. I've been sort of observing how people choose their seating on the bus/subway as well.
I'm still waiting for TTC to pull out those trains which is one long car instead of separate cars.
They had a demo about a year and half ago at Finch and that was the end of it or at least afaik

Thanks for the link Tess and for dropping by! I too am one of those people who never developed the odd motion sickness gene that is affected by backward subway seating. You're lucky that you are an anti-rush rider :) I have to go with the flow (or mob) every day...

I personally am a backward seat sitter. I love it. No one ever wants these seats due to some motion sickness gene that I never developed. I am also going to work in the West End in the AM and home downtown in the PM, so I am the anti-rush rider and there's more than enough room for diffusion.

Thanks for the link by the way, I linked back in that nerdy way only Bloggers can appreciate.

Cheers,
Tess

I actually like the same spots you do, but the subway is so packed I can rarely get to #5. I usually end up in the clump.

I also try to stay away from the triple seats, my shoulders are too wide and get in the way :)

Shey I totally agree. People love leaning against the poles to read their newspapers or books -- sometimes even sleeping!

Clumping is difficult to deal with, especially when everyone wants to stay close by to their friends or whomever they are talking to.

What seats/spots do you go for? Or are all seats game? :)
